EGR Valve Temperature Sensor

The EGR Valve Temperature Sensor monitors the temperature of the EGR system air flow and sends this information to the engine control module so it can determine the EGR system operation.

Wells EGR Valve Temperature Sensors are designed to meet or exceed OE part specifications for fit, form and function.

The EGR Valve Temperature Sensor is located under hood, near the EGR valve.

If a vehicle is displaying one or more of the following symptoms, it may need a new EGR Valve Temperature Sensor:

• Pinging or knocking
• Increased emissions or failed emissions test
• Check engine light is illuminated
