Distributor Pick-Up Coils

A distributor pick-up coil is responsible for sending a signal to the ignition control module to fire the coil at the appropriate time, starting with the first cylinder located top-center within the engine.

Wells Vehicle Electronics distributor pick-up coils are manufactured to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function.

The distributor pick-up coil is located inside the distributor.

If your vehicle is experiencing one or more of the following, it may be time to replace the distributor pick-up coil:

• Engine does not start or misfires
• Increased emissions or failed emissions test
• Check engine light is illuminated
