Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

Vapor Canister Purge Solenoids take the fuel vapors stored in the Vapor Canister and routes them into the intake stream so they can be burned in the combustion chamber. The Engine Control Module decides when to open the valve and route the vapors based on various operating conditions.

Wells Vapor Canister Purge Solenoids are engineered and tested to match OE parts in fit, form and function and are compatible with both domestic and imported vehicles. Products come with OE-style brackets, hardware and electrical connectors when applicable.

The Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid’s location may vary based on engine design but is typically found under hood, near the intake manifold.
