HVAC Blower Motor Resistor

The HVAC Blower Motor Resistor’s function is to regulate the speed of the HVAC blower motor. When it malfunctions, a vehicle may have inconsistent heating or cooling and poor windshield defrosting, which can reduce driver visibility.

The Blower Motor Resistor is typically located in the dashboard behind the glovebox. It may also be located in the rear of the vehicle if the vehicle has rear HVAC options.
